Life brings us happiness and satisfaction as well as challenging situations and problems. We may not control the events that come to us but we can decide how we want to respond.
Problems develop when stress is greater than our resources. Anxiety occurs when we cannot meet our own expectations or what we imagine are the expectations of others in relationships at home, at work, or socially.
Therapy is the process of meeting the challenges of change. There may be little that we actually control in life but there is much that we can influence. Therapy helps us build the skills needed to deal with life’s challenges and influence change.
